<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently check the operation of a function of discharging residual charge in a capacitor included in a drive device, in a vehicle in which running driving force is generated by use of power from an energy storage device. <P>SOLUTION: In the vehicle 100, a PCU 120 drives a motor generator 150 by use of power from a mounted energy storage device 110 to generate running driving force. In the vehicle 100, PCU discharge, which is caused by a current feeding loss in a switching element inside the PCU 120, can be performed as a function of discharging residual charge in a capacitor C2 included in the PCU 120. An HV-ECU 300 checks the operation of a discharge circuit 170 for PCU discharge at a predetermined timing at which the vehicle 100 does not run. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
