<p>A spherical mobile robot is disclosed. According to the present invention, the spherical mobile robot comprises: a pair of housings which are formed in a hemispherical shape, have an inner installation space, and are coupled to each other to form a spherical shape; a direction conversion driving unit coupled to the center of an inner surface of one of the housings; a support body comprising a first support body and a second support body; a frontward and rearward driving unit provided to the second support body; a pair of movable weights wherein an arm end part is coupled to a drive shaft; and a control unit provided in the support body. The housing rolls in the rotating direction of the movable weight, and the direction of the housing is converted into the direction of the support body. According to the present invention, moving and direction converting and stopping can be easily performed on the ground and under or on the surface of water.</p> |
