Methods of regulating blood glucose levels using an insulin pump are disclosed. A method includes receiving a current blood glucose level, and determining whether the current blood glucose level is above a threshold value. The method also includes calculating a correction bolus value based upon the current blood glucose.

1. A method of regulating blood glucose levels using an insulin pump, the method comprising:
receiving a current blood glucose level at an insulin pump; determining whether the current blood glucose level is above a threshold value with the insulin pump; and upon determining that the current blood glucose level is above the threshold, automatically calculating a revised correction bolus value with the pump from a preexisting correction bolus value, both the revised correction bolus value and the preexisting correction bolus value being calculated based upon the current blood glucose level.
