<p>An apparatus for operating a power saw includes a body for supporting the power saw. The body includes a primary coupling mechanism for coupling the power saw to the body and constraining movement of a blade of the power saw to be in a plane. The apparatus further includes a clamping mechanism connected to the body. The clamping mechanism is for clamping a top rail of the fence to secure the body relative to the fence, so that the power saw can be rotated to sweep its blade within the plane to efficiently trim the tops of fence posts.</p> |
