1. A portable communication device comprising:
a display unit configured to display images in a first and a second plane, where each image comprises a plurality of user-selectable icons, each user-selectable icon representing a particular functionality to be performed by the portable communication device when selected; a control unit configured to control and provide said images to be displayed on said display unit; wherein said display unit is configured to displays the icons of the first plane, from a first viewing position, as being stacked onto the items icons of the second plane when the device is disposed in a first position, wherein the icons of the second plane are completely hidden; wherein said display unit is further configured to display the icons of the second plane behind the icons of the first plane, from the first viewing position, such that the icons of the second plane are viewable while being behind the icons of the first plane when said the device is tilted from the first position; and a detector element detecting that of the device is tilted from the first position.
