Disclosed are a call-processing method of a mobile communications base station under the condition of radio-admission control failure, and the base station thereof. Even when radio-admission control cannot be applied to a new call requesting an RRC connection by using a normal method, the base station can allow the RRC connection by applying a visitor mode and can provide limited resources. In addition, the base station can conduct a handover for the corresponding call in case handover conditions are met for the corresponding call during the visitor mode. If the handover is not initiated within a predetermined period of time or the corresponding call is identified as a data service call, the base station can cut the corresponding RRC connection and provide redirection information. As a result, the present invention can improve the quality of service (QoS) for a voice call or a video call made by a new connection-requesting user without securing separately reserved resources while minimizing influences to the QoS of existing users. |
