<p>Disclosed in the present invention are an intelligent heat pump apparatus and a method which a floor heating operation using a heat pump or a heat storage heating operation using a heat storage tank is selectively operated by considering the heating flow amount and the temperature of the heating water inside the heat storage tank. According to the present invention, the intelligent heat pump apparatus comprises: an information collecting portion which collects information about the heating flow amount and the temperature of heating water inside the heat storage tank; the lowest value setting portion which sets the lowest value of the heating flow amount capable of a heating operation with the heat pump based on a correlation of the heating flow amount and a heat pump coefficient of performance (COP); and a control portion which controls to enable the floor heating operation using a heat pump or the heat storage heating operation using a heat storage tank selectively operated based on the collected heating flow amount, the temperature of heating water inside the heat storage tank, and the lowest value.</p> |
