<p>The present invention relates to an acid gas absorbent composition and a method for capturing acid gas using the acid gas absorbent composition which are for preventing deterioration of an absorbent in an absorption and a removal process for capturing, separating, and recovering the acid gas such as carbon dioxide and the like from synthesis gas. The method for capturing acid gas comprises the following processes: adding a metal reducing agent to an absorbent as single or mixture; reducing metal such as iron ion and the like which are deterioration inducing materials included in the absorbent into zero-valent metal; removing the reduced zero-valent metal with a filter, thereby preventing a catalyst reaction by metal ion and deterioration of the absorbent according to the catalyst reaction. Accordingly, an inactivity of the absorbent by deterioration of the absorbent according to operation of a capture equipment can be significantly reduced, thereby reducing operational costs of the equipment and a production of deterioration products. Thus, a corrosion and aging of the equipment can be prevented and a the equipment can be operated stably.</p> |
