<p>According to an embodiment of the present invention, a broadcast system for automatically controlling volume is provided. The broadcast system includes an input unit configured to input a sound signal; a thermal image camera configured to measure infrared rays emitted from an object to generate a thermal image; a speaker configured to receive a sound signal and output sound; and a control unit configured to determine the presence and nonpresence of people from a thermal image received from the thermal image camera when a sound signal is input from the input unit and to adjust an output of the sound signal provided to the speaker.</p> |
