The present invention relates to a catalyst composition for a hydroformylation reaction and a method for hydroformylation of olefin using the same. According to the present invention, a ligand specific to a transition metal catalyst and a stabilizer for the ligand are used in combination in a hydroformylation reaction of olefin, thereby improving the selectivity to isoaldehyde, enhancing the stability of the catalyst to maintain the catalytic activity, and inducing the reduction in the amount of ligand used.
