<p>A motor operated steering apparatus is disclosed in the present invention. The present invention comprises: a worm wheel combined with a steering shaft forming a gear portion in a circumference portion; a worm shaft having a worm gear portion to be geared in the gear portion where a motor is combined on one side; and a damping apparatus combined on the other side of the worm shaft. The damping apparatus comprises: a housing where a fluid is contained inside; a cylinder installed inside the housing, having a slit on one end portion, having a fluid flow passage between the external surface and the internal surface of the housing, and having an inlet hole make the fluid in the fluid flow passage enter inside; an elastic member installed inside the cylinder; a piston installed to be supported by the elastic member inside the cylinder, having a fluid passing hole to let the fluid pass through, and pressurizing the other side of the worm shaft; and a control apparatus inserted in the slit of the cylinder, having an orifice hole by being separated from one side of the slit, and adjusting a pressure of the piston in accordance with controlling an opening of the orifice hole by being rotationally combined with the housing.</p> |
