A signature (or other type of verification or confirmation) is received from a remote user. A merchant can send a signature request over a network to any device having a browser and touch screen or other means for receiving user input. An input area is displayed within the browser on the user's device. When the user inputs a signature (or other form of user input acting as authorization), the signature can be routed over a network back to the merchant to provide authorization for a transaction. Various forms of authentication can be used to verify the identity of the user providing authorization for the transaction. |
