PRODUCTION PROCESS FOR NON-QUENCHED AND TEMPERED STEEL

Provided is a production process for a non-quenched and tempered steel, comprising at least a cooling step provided after a precision rolling step. A mode of alternative strong and weak cooling is employed in the cooling step so that the steel undergoes at least two stages of through-water cooling, such that the temperature in the core of the steel tends to be identical to the surface temperature within a specified period of time. Therefore the uniformity of the mechanical properties of the steel is guaranteed and the production efficiency is improved.
