Disclosed is a picture management method. The picture management method comprises: acquiring picture information about at least one target picture; according to the picture information, judging an application program or an application program category corresponding to the target picture; according to the application program or the application program category corresponding to the target picture, classifying the target picture; and displaying the classified target picture on a user interface. Also disclosed are a picture management device and a mobile terminal. By means of the present invention, pictures in a mobile terminal can be classified based on application software, so that a user can more conveniently and quickly manage the pictures in the mobile terminal.
