This probe unit for use in ultrasonic vibration treatment of a biological tissue treatment site is provided with: a probe which comprises a vibration transmission unit through which ultrasonic vibration is transmitted from the base end towards the leading end, and a treatment unit which is arranged at the leading end side of the vibration transmission unit and can treat the treatment site with the ultrasonic vibration transmitted through the vibration transmission unit; and a marking unit which protrudes relative to the treatment unit of the probe and can mark the biological tissue so as to define the treatment area.
