PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding helmet which is easy to be in a use state and easy to use while reliably maintaining a helmet shape.SOLUTION: An almost hemispherical shell-shaped cap body 1 is composed of a half-cap body on the right side and a half-cap body on the left side. Each of the half-cap bodies is composed of a center shell 2a occupying a certain range from a lower end and peripheral shells 2b to 2d adjacent to the same. The center shell and the peripheral shells are connected in a rotatable state, and the corresponding peripheral shells are connected at connection parts 4, 5 and 6. On both ends back and forth of the connection part 4 positioned in the center, connection claws 7 are provided, and the connection parts 5 and 6 are provided with engaging parts 10 at a position opposite the connection claws 7. By pressing the folded helmet from a back and forth direction by hand, the connection claws are engaged with engaging parts to put the helmet in a use state. By disengaging the connection claws and pressing the cap body from side surfaces, the helmet is folded. |
