PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air electrode material which can increase the outputs of solid oxide type fuel batteries, and a solid oxide type fuel battery which enables the increase in the output.SOLUTION: An air electrode material comprises, as a primary component, a complex oxide having a general formula expressed by ABO, and having a perovskite structure including, at A site, at least one of La and Sr. According to the crystal orientation analysis of the air electrode material by means of an electron beam back scattering method, the mean equivalent circle diameter of regions defined by boundaries of which the crystal orientation difference is 5 degrees or larger, and identical in crystal orientation is 0.03 μm or larger and 2.8 μm or less. |
