Provided is a method for monitoring safe home-coming by a mobile terminal. The method, which is provided to monitor safe home-coming by a mobile terminal having an application of monitoring safe home-coming of a user, includes the steps of: receiving a service set identifier (SSID) transmitted from a set-top box mounted in a business vehicle which the user gets in; determining the SSID meets a set authentication pattern; transmitting the SSID to a database server if the SSID meets the authentication pattern and receiving, from the database server, inquiry information on whether the SSID is a registered SSID; and performing a notification function which corresponds to registered vehicle information or unregistered vehicle information corresponding to the business vehicle based on the inquiry information. |
