PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emergency unit which reduces power consumption loss of a charging circuit (a charging part).SOLUTION: An emergency unit 300 includes: a conversion part 320-1 which converts an alternating current voltage into a direct current voltage and outputs the converted direct current voltage as an output voltage; a charging circuit 370 which charges a battery 500 on the basis of the output voltage of the conversion part 320-1; a power source switching circuit 350 which detects a battery voltage of the battery 500 charged by the charging circuit 370; and a feedback circuit 360 which controls the magnitude of the output voltage of the conversion part 320-1 according to a value of the battery voltage detected by the power source switching circuit 350.
