The invention relates to an eyeglass lens for a display device (1), which display device can be placed on the head of a user and produces an image, wherein the eyeglass lens (3) has a front side (11), a back side (12), a coupling-in segment (16), and a coupling-out segment (14), wherein the coupling-out segment (14) has at least two reflective deflecting surfaces (13) arranged adjacent to each other and the eyeglass lens (3) is suitable for guiding light bundles (9) from pixels of the produced image, which are coupled into the eyeglass lens (3) by means of the coupling-in segment (16), in the eyeglass lens (3) to the coupling-out segment (14) and for coupling said light bundles out of the eyeglass lens (3) through the back side (12) after reflection on the reflective deflecting surfaces (13), wherein the reflective deflecting surfaces (13) are formed on a surface structure (23) in the eyeglass lens (3), and the eyeglass lens (3) has a main part (20) having the front side (11) and the back side (12), in which main part a recess (21) extending from the back side (12) or from the front side (11) to the surface structure (23) is present, into which recess an insert element (22) is inserted, a first end (29) of which facing the surface structure (23) is complementary to the surface structure (23), wherein the reflective deflecting surfaces (13) lie between the surface structure (23) of the main part (20) and the first end (29) of the insert element (22). |
