The invention relates to a device (1) making it possible to connect either two pedicle screws (2), or two rods (3) each connecting two pedicle screws (2), comprising: - two connection elements (4) designed to be rigidly connected either to screws (2) or rods (3) to be connected, and - a connecting rod (5) removably connecting the two connection elements (4). Each element (4) comprises means (4a) able to cooperate either with the head of a pedicle screw (2), or with a rod (3) connecting two pedicle screws (2), on the one hand, and means (6) able to receive the corresponding end (5a) of the connecting rod (5), and to allow it to rotate around the longitudinal axis of same to adopt a so-called locking position, on the other hand, said receiving means (6) comprising fittings (7) able to cooperate, in said locking position, with complementary fittings (7a) comprised by the ends (5 a). |
