<p>The invention relates to an improved user interface for a mobile device (100) comprising a processor, a touch screen having a display area, an Input/Output device to connect to a network system and a data storage comprising instructions. In response to a touch pattern (106A, 108, 106B) with predefined characteristics in the full screen window of an application, the full screen window is repositioned in a direction (108') associated with the touch pattern with the predefined characteristics as a result of which the application window is shifted and displayed partially in a section of the display area. The repositioning does not change the appearance and functionality of the part of the application window that is displayed in the section of the display area. The invention enables a user to control fully the application with a hand that holds the mobile device at the same time.</p> |
