<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting element array capable of improving writing efficiency to a photoconductor drum to be exposed by an exposure head having the light-emitting element array without involving an increased supply current causing degradation in the characteristics of light-emitting elements or any other fault, and to provide an exposure apparatus and an image forming apparatus configured using the same. <P>SOLUTION: A light-emitting element 10 comprises an organic EL element having an anode electrode 18 formed via a transparent insulating film 16 on a glass substrate 14, an organic EL layer 22 formed on the anode electrode, and a cathode electrode 28 formed on the organic EL layer. The cathode electrode is composed of a transparent electrode layer 24 formed on the organic EL layer and a reflective electrode layer 26 formed on the transparent electrode layer. A thickness of the transparent electrode layer 24 is set up such that a wavelength maximizing the interference amplification rate of outgoing light may become a value between a wavelength maximizing the emission intensity of light emitted by the organic EL layer 22 and a wavelength at a long wavelength side of a wavelength half width in the spectral sensitivity of a photoconductor drum 62. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
