<p>A method of generating a dominant frequency map of a cardiac area in a patient. The method comprises the steps of: (i) processing a plurality of electrograms from the patient by Fourier transformation to generate a power frequency spectrum. Each electrogram corresponds to a portion of the cardiac area measured substantially simultaneously. Step (ii) comprises selecting the highest value from each power frequency spectrum as the dominant frequency at the corresponding portion of the cardiac area. Each dominant frequency is determined in respect of a period of at least 7 seconds.</p> |
