PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for improving the operating efficiency of a game machine.SOLUTION: When the total number of stored first special symbols and stored second special symbols reaches a prescribed value, a normal mode is shifted to a special mode, and a special mode performance is executed. As execution of a specific ready performance in the special mode is determined as meeting of a specific condition and the special mode is shifted to the normal mode, the special mode continues until the execution of the specific ready performance. Further, as execution of a ready performance in the special mode and additionally winning a predetermined mode shift lottery is determined as meeting of the specific condition and the special mode is shifted to the normal mode, the special mode continues until the execution of a normal ready performance. With respect to the variation occurring when the normal mode is shifted to the special mode, the special mode is not shifted to the normal mode even if a condition to return to the normal mode is met. This constitution improves the operating efficiency of the game machine. |
