The purpose of the present invention is to provide a connector wherein a possibility of generating a short-circuit and electrical discharge between a conductive member and a circuit board, and between the conductive member and a contact is effectively reduced when a first connector and a second connector are connected to each other, even in the cases where the height of the whole connector is reduced. When a first contact (50) is mounted on a circuit pattern of a first circuit board (60), and a second contact (25) is mounted on a circuit pattern of a second circuit board (31), a conductive member (55) is positioned between the first circuit board (60) and the second circuit board (31), and an outer circumferential wall (38) of a first insulator (36) has conductive member shielding sections (38a1, 38a2) between the conductive member (55) and a part configured from the first circuit board (60) and a tail piece (51) of the first contact (50), and/or between the second circuit board (31) and the conductive member (55). |
