<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire that can improve durability by protecting a sidewall itself of the pneumatic tire or a colored coating part that is formed on the sidewall. <P>SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire includes a protective layer formed on the sidewall of the tire, the layer composed of an aqueous urethane resin. The protective layer of the pneumatic tire can be formed so as to cover a surface of a coating layer that is formed in the sidewall of the tire.
