PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect an operating state of a circuit breaker included in each power storage element in power storage blocks each connecting a plurality of power storage elements in parallel.SOLUTION: A power storage system includes: a plurality of series-connected power storage blocks each having a plurality of power storage elements connected in parallel; and a controller for identifying a state of each power storage block. Each power storage element has the circuit breaker for interrupting a current path in the power storage element. The controller detects that the circuit breaker of a power storage element included in a power storage block is in the interrupting state if a first temperature change of the power storage element corresponding to a current flowing through the power storage block based on a detection temperature detected by a temperature sensor is different from a second temperature change of the power storage element corresponding to a current flowing through the power storage block where none of the circuit breakers of all the power storage elements connected in parallel are in the interrupting state. |
