The present invention provides a time deterministic human-machine interface device (106). The human-machine interface device (106) includes a software interpretation platform (202) and a configurable hardware interpretation platform (204). The software interpretation platform (202) includes at least one processing unit (208), an operating system (212) deployed on the processing unit (208), a runtime application (214) instantiated on the operating system (212). The configurable hardware interpretation platform (204) includes at least one field-programmable gate array (224). The field-programmable gate array (224) is configured for independently executing at least one logical function assigned to the human-machine interface device (106). The present invention also provides a system and a method for configuring the time deterministic human-machine interface device (106). |
