<p>A thermal printer (1) comprises: a drawer body (12) having a recording paper storage part (11) that stores recording paper; a frame body (13) supporting the drawer body (12) slidably between a drawn-out position where the recording paper storage part (11) is open and a housed position where the recording paper storage part (11) is closed; a head unit (14) provided on the drawer body (12) and having a thermal head (52); and a platen roller (22) provided on the frame body (13) and that feeds paper when releasably assembled with the head unit (14) in the housed position, wherein the head unit (14) includes a platen driving mechanism (53) that is connected to the platen roller (22) when the platen roller (22) is assembled with the head unit (14) in the housed position and that drives the platen roller (22).</p> |
