PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine having a novel game property.SOLUTION: A game machine comprises: variable ball entry means having a specific area capable of entering game balls moving in a game area; specific ball entry means capable of entering the game balls having entered the specific area; and startup ball entry means, into which the game balls moving in a game area outside of the specific area can enter. A special game state is established on the basis of the ball entry into the specific ball entry means, and the variable ball entry means is opened on the basis of the entry into special the startup ball entry means. The special game state has a plurality of kinds, which are determined at the instant when the game ball enters the startup ball entry means. In the case where the game ball having entered a specific area enters the specific ball entry means when the variable ball entry means is opened on the basis of a predetermined ball entry into the startup ball entry means, there is applied a special game state of the kind determined on the basis of the predetermined ball entry. Further comprised is notification means capable of notifying a player of the kind of the special game state determined on the basis of the predetermined ball entry, at a step before the variable ball entry means is brought into the open state on the basis of a predetermined ball entry into the startup ball entry means. |
