<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a blast furnace coke excellent in shock resistance by subjecting a formed coal to dry distillation in a vertical shaft furnace, wherein the formed coal is formed by containing a caking additive in a raw material coal having a large amount of low-grade coal of no or slight caking properties, mainly a non- or slightly-caking coal, contained therein. <P>SOLUTION: In the method of producing a blast furnace coke by subjecting the formed coal to dry distillation in the vertical shaft furnace, the formed coal is subjected to the dry distillation while maintaining the furnace-top atmosphere temperature at 350 to 550°C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
