<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique which can efficiently perform the production of re-lottery without increasing the capacity of a variable pattern selecting table. <P>SOLUTION: When a predetermined production executing conditions are fulfilled during winning of an internal lottery, a prolonged stop display time T2, which is extended from its usual stop display time, is set in place of a regular stop display time that is set to a regular duration as a stop display time of a special symbol. Then, making use of the prolonged stop display time T2, this machine executes the production of re-lottery. Therefore, there is no necessity to decide the change time of the special symbol, taking account of the duration of re-lottery, and a common variable pattern can be selected depending upon whether the production of re-lottery is performed (T1 and T3).
