<p>The invention relates to the fields of chemistry and relates to a method for curing and surface modification of molded parts, which can be used, for example, in the automobile industry, in vehicle construction, in the electrical industry. The object of the present invention is to disclose a method which can be carried out in particular in a short time and with a high degree of reproducibility and leads to an improvement in the surface quality of the molded parts to be painted. The object is attained with a method in which materials containing at least one unsaturated radically or cationically curable reactive resin system are processed to form a molded part and during or after the molding process with or without coating are cross-linked up to dimensional stability, and during the cross-linking and/or subsequently, before and/or after a coating, the molded part is subjected to a processing by means of energetic radiation or energetic particles up to essentially complete curing at least of the surface region of the molded part.</p> |
