<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bread making machine capable of simply and surely preventing fogginess of a check window caused by steam existing in a heating chamber, and to provide a method of operating the bread making machine. <P>SOLUTION: The bread making machine includes: an electric heater 8 that heats the inside of a heating chamber 5 formed by a lid body 3 and a casing C; and a check window B that is composed of a planar transparent body 10 for transmitting at least visible light and that is arranged in the lid body 3. A controller 15 executes a kneading step, fermentation step, and baking step of bread making materials. The electric heater 8 arranged in the heating chamber 5 is energized and driven so that a temperature inside the heating chamber 5 may reach a target temperature for heating the bread making materials. In the lid body 3, there is arranged an electric heater 9 for preventing condensation that is separate from the electric heater 8, that prevents condensation in the check window B, and that is energized and driven so that the temperature of a part adjacent to the heating chamber 5 of the lid body 3 may reach the target temperature for preventing condensation. In the kneading step, the target temperature for preventing condensation is set higher than the target temperature for heating the bread making materials, and operated to heat the electric heater 9 for preventing condensation and the electric heater 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
