The method for transmitting a data stream from a first device (40) able to emulate touch and touch release on a touchscreen (31) of a second device (30). The touchscreen state is switching between two different states by a generation of a modification of the capacitive state of at least a first area of the touchscreen, the method comprises:
€¢ generating a sequence of touches (TS) and touch releases (R) defining a sequence of state transitions, a first value of bit being encoded by a first duration (t a ) defined between two state transitions and a second value of bit being encoded by a second duration (t b ) defined between two state transitions ;
€¢ generating a sequence of events in the second device (30),;
€¢ retrieving a bit stream by analyzing each measured duration by the second device between two successive events of the sequence of events.
