EMERGENCY ESCAPE RAMP FOR RAILWAY VEHICLES

The present invention relates to an emergency escape ramp for a railway vehicle and, particularly, is configured to comprise: a box part laid under the ground to open the front at the side of the railway vehicle positioned under an entrance door; a cover part having an upper end to a front upper part of the box part to be capable of rotating in a vertical direction and opening and closing the front of the box part; a foothold part folded and accommodated within the box part, and sliding to the side of the railway vehicle and being unfolded in case of emergency to enable passengers to get off the vehicle from the entrance door to the ground; and a locking part formed to stand up or be inclined at the front lower portion of the box part to be rotatable in a left and right direction and closing an end portion of the foothold part not to unfold the folded foothold part or releasing closeness in the end portion of the foothold part to unfold the folded foothold part, thereby enabling the passengers to speedily escape via the entrance door at the side of a failed vehicle as well as emergency exits in the front and the rear of the failed vehicle in case of emergency, and, particularly, enabling handicapped or old and weak passengers, who ride on a wheelchair, to safely and speedily escape to the ground via the entrance door at the side of the failed vehicle without a help from other passengers, so it can reduce escape taking time of the passengers rather than the conventional invention, and reduce maintenance costs because it adopts a manual operation method and does not need electric devices.
