摘要 Systems and techniques for wireless communication are described. A described technique includes performing, at a first device, a sequence with multiple second devices to protect a wireless communication neighborhood of the first device and wireless communication neighborhoods of the second devices for a transmission of a multi-user frame, the multi-user frame including spatially steered data frames that are respectively intended for the second devices; determining bandwidth availabilities for the second devices based on information received from the second devices during the sequence; selecting a bandwidth configuration for the multi-user frame based on the bandwidth availabilities to produce a selected bandwidth configuration that enables the data frames to be spatially steered and transmitted concurrently within the multi-user frame based on a common bandwidth availability among the second devices; and generating and transmitting the multi-user frame to the second devices in accordance with the selected bandwidth configuration.
