PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a binding tool which can stably hold a material to be bound even when height of the binding tool is reduced.SOLUTION: A binding tool 20 comprises: a binding member 70 including a pressing part 72 which presses and holds a material to be bound; an operation member 60 which is operated to rotate between an open state and a holding state; and an energization member 50 which energizes the binding member 70 in a direction that the material to be bound is pressed. The energization member 50 actuates the binding member 70 to rotate around the operation member 60 side into the holding state to press the material to be bound and into the open state to be away from the material to be bound. The binging member 70 includes the pressing part 72 in the vicinity of a reference plane passing the end edge of the binding member 70 in the opposite side of the operation member 60 when the binding member 70 is viewed in plane. A part of energization member 50 is extended toward the width direction of the binding member 70 in the vicinity of a reference plane passing the end edge of the binding member 70 in the opposite side of the operation member 60 when the binding member 70 is viewed in plane. |
