<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing device that reduces a user load in releasing a lock of a paper position regulation plate of a paper feeding cassette.SOLUTION: A printing device comprises: a paper position regulation plate; paper position regulation plate interlocking means that is interlocked with the regulation plate; position regulation plate locking means that locks the paper position regulation plate interlocking means by being interlocked with storing of the paper feeding cassette into a main body thereof; and position regulation plate lock releasing means that releases the position regulation plate locking means by being interlocked with extraction of the paper feeding cassette from the main body. The paper position regulation plate interlocking means is constituted of a rack and a pinion or a belt and a roller. On the back sides of the rack and the belt are formed a plurality of rack engagement grooves and belt engagement grooves. A rack stopper and a belt stopper, which are shaped so as to engage with the rack engagement grooves and the belt engagement grooves, are configured to lock the paper position regulation plate interlocking means by being interlocked with the storing of the paper feeding cassette into the main body of the printing device. The lock releasing means is made of springs.</p> |
