<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device which has a high layout property and is provided with a steering sensor capable of detecting an absolute angle of 360° or more.SOLUTION: A face gear 11b is formed on an end surface in the axial direction of a worm wheel 11a which constitutes a worm reduction gear. An angle sensor unit includes a detecting gear 21 engaged with the face gear 11b, a detecting gear 22 engaged with the detecting gear 21, an angle detecting substrate 23, a gear support member and a sensor housing (angle sensor housing, angle sensor cover). A gear box housing exposes a part of the face gear 11b in such a state as to house the worm reduction gear and has a fitting hole to which an angle sensor unit is fitted.</p> |
