摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a shock caused by a step of driving torque transmitted to a driving wheel at stop/start of a vehicle while improving fuel economy by expanding an EV region.SOLUTION: When an engine start request is made in an EV mode, a motor/generator functions as an engine starter and cranking of a horizontal engine is performed via a first clutch. This control device for a hybrid vehicle includes a hybrid control module that outputs the engine start request in the EV mode, when total torque of cranking torque necessary for cranking of the horizontal engine and required driving torque exceeds engine start determination motor upper limit torque that is set higher than actual upper limit torque of the motor/generator. The hybrid control module includes a stop/start time starting control section for outputting the engine start request when release of a brake operation causes the required driving torque to exceed creep cut torque at stop/start of the vehicle.
