<p>The present invention relates to a method and device for configuring an automatic neighbor relation (ANR) in consideration of conflict between identical PCIs in a mobile communication network environment. According to the present invention, a method for configuring an ANR by a base station in a mobile communication network environment includes the steps of: (a) receiving, from a terminal, a measurement report message obtained by measuring a signal quality of an adjacent cell; (b) extracting PCI information of the adjacent cell from the received measurement report message to determine whether the PCI information is included in a neighbor cell list (NCL); (c) determining whether the PCI information is an overlapping PCI or a unique PCI within a predetermined range from the base station, if the PCI information of the adjacent cell is included in the neighbor cell list; and (d) referring to handover statistics information corresponding to the PCI to determine whether to perform an automatic neighbor relation configuring operation, if the PCI information of the adjacent cell is the overlapping PCI.</p> |
