<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas insulated switchgear capable of stably reducing CO gas generated in a sealed container by current interruption, without being affected by cracked gas other than the CO gas.SOLUTION: A gas insulated switchgear of an embodiment according to the present invention opens/closes an electric circuit by switching between current conduction and current interruption. The gas insulated switchgear includes: a sealed container 2 filled with arc-extinguishing gas consisting of only COgas or mixed gas containing COgas; and a fixed arc contact 3b and a movable arc contact 4b housed in the sealed container 2, and generating an arc discharge 6 therebetween by being separated from each other during the current interruption process. In the sealed container 2, a CO gas adsorbent 21 adsorbing CO gas and a cracked gas adsorbent 22 adsorbing cracked gas other than the CO gas are provided. The cracked gas adsorbent 22 is arranged around the CO gas adsorbent 21, and at least a part of the CO gas adsorbent 21 is exposed to the outside of the cracked gas adsorbent 22.</p> |
