An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device is provided to express gradation at the same level even though a range of actually applied data is reduced because a range of a pixel voltage is widen by a change of a maintenance voltage. Pixels have a pixel electrode and are arranged in a matrix form. A data line supplies a data voltage to the pixel electrode. A gate line(Gi,Gi+1,Gi+2,Gi+3) supplies a gate signal of determining a period when the data voltage is applied to the pixel electrode. A maintenance capacitor uses a maintenance electrode line(Si,Si+1) and maintains a voltage charged to the pixels from the completion of charging to next charging. A maintenance electrode line driving unit(700a) applies a first maintenance voltage to the maintenance electrode line during the charging period and applies a second maintenance voltage with a different size of the first maintenance voltage to the maintenance electrode line at least two times.
