<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust system capable of safely discharging hydrogen gas stagnated in a top floor of a nuclear reactor building to outside in an emergency.SOLUTION: An exhaust system 1 includes: a discharge duct 12 provided on a rooftop of a nuclear reactor building containing therein a nuclear reactor, and discharging gas generated in the nuclear reactor to outside; a cover 20 installed in the discharge duct 12, and sealing the discharge duct 12 so as to restrict the gas from moving from the nuclear reactor building at normal time; and a wire 14 coupled to the cover 20. The cover 20 includes: a metal plate 21 covering an interior of the discharge duct 12; an annular notch 21a formed in a surface of the metal plate 21; and a coupled portion 24 provided near the notch 21a and in an area inward of the notch 21a in the metal plate 21, and coupled to the wire 14. The notch 21a is broken if the wire 14 is pulled with a predetermined force. As a result, if a worker pulls the wire, a hole is formed in the metal plate 21 to open the discharge duct 12.</p> |
