PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the leakage of toner from a contact part between a developing roller and a layer thickness regulation blade, when the toner stayed in an area where the developing roller faces the layer thickness regulation blade is moved.SOLUTION: A developing cartridge 120 includes a housing 130 including a developing chamber 131 in which a developing roller 140 for carrying the toner is provided and a toner storage chamber 132 for storing the toner, a layer thickness regulation blade 160 whose base end 162 is supported by the housing 130 and whose top end 161 comes into contact with the developing roller 140, to regulate the thickness of the toner carried on the developing roller 140, and a moving member 170 for moving the toner in a direction from the developing chamber 131 toward the toner storage chamber 132. The layer thickness regulation blade 160 is configured so as to extend from the base end 162 to the top end 161 along the rotational direction of the developing roller 140 at the top end 161. The moving member 170 is configured so as to move along the rotation axis direction of the developing roller 140. |
