PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and long life pseudo-sunlight irradiation device capable of saving power consumption, in which the emission spectrums obtained by exciting a plurality of types of phosphor powder with a UV light source as an excitation light source are approximate to the sunlight spectrum in the range of 350-900 nm.SOLUTION: A pseudo-sunlight irradiation device includes a light source of UV-exciting light having a maximum intensity in the range of 300-400 nm, and phosphor powder placed on the optical path of the UV-exciting light. A value obtained by performing spectrum integration of fluorescent light generated from the phosphor powder and the transmitted exciting light, in the range of every 50 nm from 350 to 750 nm, is approximate to a value obtained by AM1.5 global solar radiation standards sunlight spectrum defined in JIS C 8931, in the range of ±40%. |
