<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stereoscopic imaging device capable of achieving a simplified optical system of a stereo adapter for obtaining a field angle in a parallax direction generally identical to that of a photographic lens.SOLUTION: A stereoscopic imaging device 1 includes: an imaging unit 2 generating an image; a stereo adapter 8 arranged in front of the imaging unit 2, dividing light from an object into a first luminous flux and a second luminous flux along a parallax direction, and guiding the first and second luminous fluxes so that the first and second luminous fluxes are aligned in a direction orthogonal to the parallax direction when the first and second luminous fluxes are incident on the imaging unit 2; and a stereoscopic image generation unit 6 generating a stereoscopic image based on the image. The stereoscopic image generation unit 6 includes: a division unit 11 dividing the image into first and second sub-images along the direction orthogonal to the parallax direction; a horizontal-direction correction unit 12 correcting rotation of the object on the first and second sub-images; and a trapezoidal distortion correction unit 13 correcting a trapezoidal distortion of the object on the first and second sub-images.</p> |
