PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging lens achieving an image size that can respond to a requirement of higher resolution while reducing a lens entire length, and an imaging device including the imaging lens.SOLUTION: An imaging lens is constituted substantially by five lenses including, in order from an object side: a first lens L1 having positive refractive power and having a meniscus shape with a convex surface on the object side; a second lens L2 having a biconcave shape; a third lens L3 having positive refractive power and having a meniscus shape with a convex surface on an image side; a fourth lens L4 having a meniscus shape with a convex surface on the image side; and a fifth lens L5 having negative refractive power and having a concave surface on the object side.
